Rent payments were often late, and required frequent interaction via phone, text, or email. Needless to say, this was very frustrating, and there was no way out because of the market collapse, so selling was not an option. We had to be patient and wait for the market to recover before we could sell.

In September of 2017, our tenant called to say that her washing machine which was located upstairs had overflowed, flooded and caused significant damage. We didn’t know what to do other than to call Servpro to go out and attend to the problem. It was at this low point that I started looking for someone to manage this property.

An internet search led me to the website of Wilder Management, Inc. Though desperate, I was impressed by the website and gave him a call. I was immediately impressed and relieved to have him help us. During the coming weeks, he proved to be a man of his word and took care of everything as good or better than we could have had we been there. At that point we hired him to manage the property until such time as the market recovered enough to enable us to sell. Rob took care of everything, and we worried not at all. He was an answer to our prayers. Our only regret was that we didn’t find him years earlier when we first bought this property.

We kept in periodic communication with him and this past spring we determined it might be a good time to put the property up for sale. We hired him to do this for us, and the rest of the story is history. The condo was sold, at the best possible price, with absolutely no hassle for us.

I have promised myself to never own another piece of income property, but if ever that should happen again I would hope to find someone of the intellect, character, and integrity of Rob Wilder to manage it for me. He is the BEST!!!!!

Firstly, Rob knows EVERYTHING there is to know about townhouses (and I assume any other type of property) and he isn’t bad to look at either. It was a bit of a process, but in all, the townhouse was more than ready for someone to rent. Rob found me a good crop of tenants to choose from- he did everything from a credit search to contacting previous landlords. While the property I obtained is new to me, especially in this economy, I wanted to make sure the person I found to rent wouldn’t tear the place apart.

I am kind of a techy person, so I love the accessibility of the Highlander Property Management website. As an owner, I can go in a log in to see absolutely everything going on with my property. Both my tenants and I can request maintenance, pay rent, and see the history of payments. Without a special maintenance request, I can rest with a piece of mind knowing that Rob from HPM checks on my property twice a month anyway to make sure that it is being taken care of correctly and to make sure everything is working right for my tenants. HPM is a dream to deal with and I count myself lucky for finding this business!
